OUR IDENTITY

Excitedly, while modern African art is gaining strong interest, steadfast traction, and intriguing definition globally, we believe that the discerning collector will instinctively recognize the distinctive signature of  an authentic contemporary African Artist, as evidenced in the consciously chosen purpose of their life's work .

As a leading, African, Fine Art institution, our claim to presence challenges us to militantly, and sacredly, resist the wiles of forgetfulness by asking the essential question,

"For whom do we create?"

We face this query in order that we may attain true permanence, integrated with and reflective of an eternal, unchanging truth. - The Unyielding, Immutable Quality—as the ultimate goal, measure, and purpose, - of value.

Thus, bearing our uniquely ordained burden, it is our profound pleasure to proclaim that KGOGO Arts & Gallery is a social enterprise. We actively direct 100% of all net proceeds towards our calling to uplift village communities throughout the African continent.

We joyfully assume this posture as a divine activation of our sacred contribution to The Direction and Ultimatum of Human Being.

Further explore our social objectives below.

COLLECT

Regarded as contemporary African artifacts, each sound piece created within the Ndiri Pano exhibition is recorded live during its creation, then carefully preserved on a Millennial Disc (M-DISC) - a new disc drive technology, similar in appearance to traditional optical media, yet does not utilize dyes, which are susceptible to breaking down over time.

Instead, data stored on an M-DISC is engraved on a patented write layer which cannot be overwritten, erased, or corrupted by natural processes, as if the data were etched in stone.

Consequently, the M-Disc is resistant to extreme conditions of light, temperature, humidity, and more, serving as a highly durable storage medium and ensuring its contents remain accessible for up to 1,000 years.

Therefore, the sound is indelibly safeguarded in a secure archive, as a uniquely treasured heirloom, - for generations to come.

THE ARTIST

Identified as gifted and talented by the tender age of 3, Zimbabwean-born, Texas-raised Master Vocalist, Amanda Badze, traversed a highly focused childhood marked by rigorous vocal and creative arts training, countless recitals, and years of abundant affirmation within the home and community.

Destiny-driven, Amanda went on to study The Fine Arts, with a concentration in Indigenous, African A Cappella Composition, via Howard University in Washington, DC, SUNY's Empire State University in Brooklyn, New York, followed by a period of independent study in Los Angeles, California, ultimately inspiring her 2014 African homecoming, towards the transformational realization of KGOGO Arts & Gallery.

Emerging on the creative pulse of Africa's contemporary fine art scene, Amanda's avant-garde sound art exhibition, entitled "Ndiri Pano: The African, Sacred Sound Healing Meditation," brilliantly presents the vocal unfoldment of a delicate, intricate, and precise pattern of sound, hearkening to the music of the spheres and vibrating in resonant, providential functionality with one of the Seven Wonders of The World: The Victoria Falls.

Here, her creative force of imagination reigns unobstructed, valiantly transcending the art world's traditionally rigid realm, while victoriously unveiling the unitive value of her ancestral heritage and individuated vital essence.
